It's Been A Long Time

I realize this is the first post I have written in a long while. Life got a little hectic, and I not only was unable to post blogs, but was also unable to write in my book. I just recently started picking up my writing again, and not only have I been working on my first book (third chapter is finally done), but I also have started a second book. I am only a few chapters into the second book, and I have been trying to bounce back and forth between the two. I recently have decided to focus more on my first book, as I would prefer to have that one finished first.
I should be having more time to write in my book, and also in my blog, now that life has settled down a bit. I look forward to jumping right back into this and enjoying every second of it.

On To Chapter Three!!

I completed the second chapter yesterday. I must say I'm quite proud of my work. I have a general idea where the story is going, but it can always change. My mind changes almost every day about everything. I enjoy only kind of knowing where it will go. It'll lead to a more exciting book, for me at least.
I started the third chapter today. I seem to be making great progress. I love where the story is headed and I hope everyone else will also. The only thing I really hope is that when I'm finished some people will want to read it (if it gets published). I think it could show a lot to young readers. As I learn more about myself, I see just how far this could go!

Chapters

I'm happy to say that yesterday I finished the first chapter in my book. It was an exciting thing for me, even though I have much, MUCH farther to go.
Today I will start the second chapter and it should be exciting to see what happens. I always have an idea of what I'm going to do, but as I'm writing new things come to me. So, let's see what this chapter turns into.
As I get further along my journey to writing my first novel, I'll keep writing on my blog and letting everyone know how it's going!

First Entry

Hey Everyone!
This will be my first blog attempt. Considering I've never done anything of this sort before, it could be interesting, or it could be a huge disaster. We'll see how it goes.
I just started writing my first novel. It will be for young adults. Most likely geared towards young females. The main character is a complex seventeen year old girl and as she grows, I do also. I enjoy learning about myself by writing about her.
Besides working on my book, I've been working as a waitress. That's about what I do, write and work.
